About Floor Klinkhamer
Hi there!
My name is Floor Klinkhamer… a young (class of 1985 young!) woman with a passion for photography! I was born in Amsteveen,The Netherlands but nowadays I live in this cute little town called Almere. I have a degree in marketing, advertising and communications (2008) but photography is my main passion.
Not a day goes by when I don’t think, look or talk ‘camera’ ;-) … I can drive people crazy (true story). I’m a self-taught photographer with an eye for unique colors and the little things in life. I love experimenting with colours and different outcomes. That’s why I almost don’t have any series… I’m always trying out different things.
While most photographers prefer to shoot with advanced and expensive gear I just keep things KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid). Your gear doesn’t make you a excellent photographer, it’s your eye and the way you perceive the world around you.
I also love to keep myself inspired. That’s why I created the Mean and Dirty (M.A.D.), it’s full of inspirational images, illustrations etc. Go check it out!
